Robby was a three sport standout during all four years as a Fenwick Falcon, receiving varsity letters for baseball, basketball and football. Recognized as a leader among the players, he was selected as football captain and received many honors and awards for his contributions. Robby was selected to the first team Mid-Miami League his junior and senior years and the all-Butler County team his senior year. He was presented with the Joe Nuxhall Award and recognized by The Cincinnati Enquirer as an All Star Lineman. Fenwick coaches and teammates also named Robby the Most Valuable Lineman. Robby joins his father, Bill Schwab along with uncles Bob and Fred Schwab in the Athletic Hall of Fame.

Robby was a valuable contributor to the success of both the basketball and baseball programs. As first baseman he helped capture two district titles advancing the team into a regional playoff. On the hardwood, Robby excelled as a consummate team player by manning the post and controlling the boards for a basketball team that claimed two league titles and one district championship during his junior and senior year.

Robby continued his athletic and academic careers at the University of Dayton where he was the starting center on the Flyers football team and three year letterman. Robby anchored the offensive line for the Dayton Flyers earning them a number one ranking in NCAA Division I-AA. Under his leadership, the team also led the Pioneer league in scoring, rushing and overall offense. During his senior year, Robby was awarded the Lt. Andy Zulli Memorial Trophy. This award goes to the Flyer who best exemplifies the qualities of Lt. Zulli, and recognized student athletes who demonstrated exceptional sportsmanship, scholarship and leadership. The Zulli Memorial is the most prestigious of all the awards in the Flyer football program. After earning his undergraduate degree in Physical Therapy, Robby received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the College of Mount St.Joseph.

Robby, wife Valerie and son Braydon reside in Wyoming where he has exchanged football cleats for running shoes as a marathon runner. Robby appreciates the many values that Fenwick helped to instill such as discipline and hard work. He also credits his parents, three brothers, teammates, coaches and teachers who helped him mature into the man he is today.
