 The Clark family is one of the few families who can say that three brothers all started as freshman thru senior years in multi sports and all were outstanding.
Jerry played football for three years and basketball for four years and was a key member of Fenwick's first District Championship team. He also played baseball for two years. Jerry excelled in all three sports, and in his senior year he was vital as the basketball team made it to the regional finals in the Ohio State Tournament. Beck then Ohio had a two class system and finishing in the top eight teams was an incredible achievement. Jerry was one of five players chosen for the Southwest Regional All-Star team.
All the brothers made the southwestern Ohio league teams many times.
We are also thankful to the Clark family for introducing Jerry Harkrader to Father Krusling and bringing him to Fenwick. |
