Don Mitchell Graduated 1967 Inducted 2005
Don Mitchell was an outstanding athlete for four years in both basketball and football. However, his greatest achievements occurred on the football field.

In his junior year, Don scored more points than any other player in Butler County. He scored a total of 148 points for an average of nearly 15 points a game.

In his senior year, he scored 78 points, ran for 820 yards and averaged 6.8 yards per carry.

Don was arguably one of the five best running backs in Fenwick history. In his senior year, he was selected to the Mid-Miami League First Team. He combined speed, power, and elusiveness to make himself a leader of his team.

Many believe that Don's outstanding achievements on the football field have gone unnoticed because of his unassuming and humble character.
