Maryellen Long DeWolfe Graduated 1991 Inducted 2001
Maryellen Long was a standout three-sport athlete for the Lady Falcons in soccer, basketball, and track. She was instrumental in leading Fenwick teams to achieve great success at the league and state levels.
She was a key performer on Falcon soccer teams that won back-to-back Mid Miami league championships and with the basketball team that finished as State Tournament runner-up. It was on the track, however, that Maryellen truly solidified her Hall of Fame credentials. As a junior, she brought home first place medals in two relay events and an individual gold for the 400m run. As a senior, Maryellen led her teams to repeat championships in the 4x800m and 4x400m relays. She placed second in the 400m run, as the Falcons claimed State runner-up honors in the team standings.
