Kathy Long was an outstanding 4-year performer in basketball, track, and soccer for the Lady Falcons. In soccer, she was a 3-time MML 1st teamer and the Falcons were the 1990 league champions. In track, she was a 3-time regional qualifier in the 300m hurdles and won state championships with the 1600 and 3200-meter relay teams in 1990 as the team finished fourth at State. In basketball, Kathy was a 3-year starter, 2-time MML first teamer, special mention all-Ohio as a junior, and 1st team all-Ohio as a senior. She was named Southwest Ohio District Player of the Year in 1990(along with a multitude of area and state honors) after leading the Falcons all the way to the State Final Four.
