Jeff Hamilton was a four-year letter winner in basketball and baseball for the Falcons. Jeff was a standout as a four-year starter in baseball, leading the team in pitching wins as a junior and senior and in batting average as a senior (second as a junior). He made his mark as a clutch performer for the Mid-Miami League and Ohio State Champions Falcon baseball team of 1974 when he compiled an 8-1 pitching record. Included among those wins were several tournament victories, including a sterling effort that earned the District Championship for the Falcons.
In recognition of his dominating performance that helped earn for Fenwick a rare MML championship, Jeff was selected for first team all-MML honors as a junior. In words of former teammate Eugene Lolli in nominating Jeff for the Hall of Fame, "I strongly feel that, without Jeff's talents, we would not have been as successful as we were, particularly during that great year, 1974."
