| Schwab has dedicated his life to family, football, and Fenwick High School.
The 1961 graduate of Fenwick, was an all-state performer for the Falcons on the gridiron. He also won all-league honors, was selected to the Parade All-American team and in 1961 was chosen Catholic Athlete of the Year. After continuing his career at the University of Dayton, Schwab served as a valued assistant for the Falcons before becoming head coach. Bob Schwab was a rare four-year starter as an offensive and defensive tackle for the Falcons. His bruising line play is credited with opening many gapping holes for Falcons teammate Fred Nori, and he was an unstoppable force on defense, showing rare quickness for his size.
